Banks Are Motivated Sellers

I get the question a lot - “Are they motivated?”. The unequivocal answer to this question with regards to the banks is YES. Are they realistic? They’re getting there. Are they motivated? YES. Once a bank owns property, especially a big bank, they must get this off their books ASAP. When a property has been hanging around for 90 days and more this is not good. Imagine you own 100 properties in Massachusetts right now as we head into the winter and they are all vacant. Think you’re motivated?

I’m not saying you can walk in and steal a thing, sometimes you have to work for it. We sold a property a month and a half ago that took 4 offers over a period of 2 months before it sold. The offers WENT DOWN each time and eventually the lender said “uncle”!

We like this property a lot. I can’t believe its not sold yet. It is close to the T and its close to the beach. The utilities are all separated and it has vinyl siding. It is even across the street from a park, what could be better?

FAQ ‘Are these all your listings?’ A: No. We list some of the best opportunities, both bank owned and not, and we have a few right now but if we only ever brought you our own listings… unless we’re listing 80% of the market, how useful is that?
